About Jarome Gautreaux

Jarome E. Gautreaux is a shareholder in the Macon, Georgia law firm of Gautreaux & Adams, LLC. His practice focuses on representing persons and families in cases involving catastrophic injuries or wrongful death arising from medical malpractice, defective products, tractor trailer wrecks and workplace accidents.

Jarome is a former federal law clerk, and he serves as an adjunct professor at Mercer Law School, teaching Pretrial Advocacy to third-year law students. He has spoken at numerous seminars on trial advocacy, evidence, pretrial organization, and various aspects of tort law. He is past present of the Middle Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and he serves on the amicus curiae committee of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He is the co-author of the chapter Pretrial Organization in the Trial Practice Manual published by the Georgia Trial Lawyers Organization. He has been selected as a Rising Star in Georgia by Georgia Law & Politics magazine.

Jarome believes that one of our highest obligations as trial lawyers is to promote safety – on the roads, at work, and at home. He strongly believes in our system of trial by jury as a way to promote and encourage safe conduct by holding wrongdoers accountable for their actions.
